Alan Helfman is an icon in Houston for several reasons. First of all, he cares for the community at a level where most would bow out. His constant and seasoned approach to giving back to Houstonians is second to none. Also, he's known for some of the Highest Leg Pitches at the First Pitch of Houston Astros Baseball games. Truly amazing.  It has taken Alan years of Yoga and other calisthenics to yield these High Leg Pitch results.  He's known for the Highest Leg Pitches in the Houston area.  The Houston Astros call upon him for some games to throw out the first pitch, and it's a real treat to see Alan's craft.  Alan doesn't stop there.  Usually, he's supporting the Astro's Foundation or another amazing charity, and the public and community benefits.
